When you arrive at the guarded gate, you have to press the button with the telephone icon. Notify the guard that you are visiting Smartdc, and he will open the barrier for you.

Once you are on the premises, take the first turn left between the two main buildings. Smartdc is located in the former distribution center, the building in front of you on the right-hand side.
