COVID-19 Virus Impact

During the ongoing pandemic, we have taken the necessary steps to ensure ongoing operations. Our top priorities are keeping business continuity and our employees' wellbeing, and we do not make concessions in either regard.

We have performed a Business Impact Analysis, and we’re working with a Disaster Recovery Plan and a Business Continuity Management Plan.

  • We have managed our supply lines to ensure sufficient supplies to our facilities;
  • We made sure that The BHV-team (Emergency Response Team) is aware of the current situation and all procedures are ready in case of an emergency.

We will continue to work at our data centers in the Netherlands and are prepared to:

  • Have personnel present at our privately owned data center locations;
  • Support our customers with our staff available 24/7 to ensure business continuity.

We will closely follow the advice and rules presented by the RIVM (Dutch National Institute for Health and Environment). For now, we have suspended long-distance travel and have asked employees to work from home while ensuring our data centers and offices remain staffed.

Since we are dependent on third parties, please keep in mind that new deliveries, shipments, and remote hands requests can take longer than usual in some cases. We strive not to have a significant impact on our customers.

We continue to monitor the situation closely, both locally and globally, and any changes to our procedures will be swiftly communicated.

Please reach out to our support team through our website or support@smartdc.net if you have any questions, further remarks, or need help.
